Priceless Piece Of Smile
I’ve been soo deeply connected by this photo ever since i shot it, that i spent hours looking at it trying to figure out what made my heart skip anytime i looked at the photograph.
Until i turned the photo upside down and the face i start to see looked like my dad’s face, (I lost my dad to cancer, may his soul rest in perfect peace). Another awesome part about this is, when i asked him what his name was, He said Daniel. And then he said the Daniel they threw into the Lions Den. ( Okay, Pause for a moment………..) i have a brother called Daniel Aboya, and when my dad said a prayer for each one of us and it got to Daniel’s turn, he started the prayer with…. “Daniel was thrown into the lions den and came out alive, so shall you come out of your problems”
To cut things short and conclude, i now know why my heart would skip a beat when i look at this portrait, it’s because it reminds me of my father, just through that one smile.
