Sometimes, doors open in places we never thought possible, and when they do, we’re scared to go through them. We’re scared of what we might find, but the truth is we’ll never know what beauty awaits on the other side unless we gather some courage to walk through. Aah, I wished I tried a little harder, took that first step, felt the tears down my cheek as I glanced at the light at the far end. I should have known before it closed again… but you know what they say about doors, right? When one closes, another opens.
Sometimes, I dream of opened doors; hopefully, I walk through one that feels like home. What else can we do to feel more free than taking that step into where we belong?
