I stood there, and all I saw were stars on the skin, cosmic in a way, mixed with the kind of smile that disappears if you blink too fast. The light wasn’t much, but it was perfect. Even in the shadows, the tiniest light always finds its way to the right place. And if you’re lucky enough to have many tiny openings, you don’t just get light, you get constellations.
If there’s anything I’ve learned on this journey as a creator and storyteller, it’s this: even in the deepest shade, the light within always finds a way to shine, through a smile, through the eyes, sometimes without us even realizing it.
And secondly, happiness isn’t found in things. It’s in the way we see the world, the way light dances around us, and the way we choose to move through it all, what I like to call moments and memories.
I stood there for a moment and thought to myself, how beautiful… then I pressed the shutter, capturing a moment that might have otherwise been forgotten.
